Welcome to my vinyl collection. I truly believe one of the biggest joys about music is sharing it with other people and allowing them to discover and enjoy something new. These are not all the records in my collection. I do not include the records I usually DJ with to be a part of this archive. With this collection and my digital collection of music, I have more music I could ever possibly listen to in my lifetime.
Most of these records were passed down to me from my Grandfather. His love for music turned into my passion. These records are not in perfect condition. They were played and played frequently. I am pretty sure my grandfather would tell you that he never intended to curate an extensive collection like this, but you have to remember .mp3 is a relatively new way to get the song you want. Back in his day–yea, I said it–they didn’t have this luxury.
These records range from 1951 to 2011. Most are the original pressing. So, type in a keyword or make a selection from the other dropdown options and see what you come up with! I would have never thought that records would be popular once again with so much digital technology. If you find something in the collection and need me to convert it to a .mp3, just give me a shout.
